The Death Korps of Krieg, in case you’re wondering, is a regiment of the Astra Militarum from the planet Krieg. Krieg has a history of rebellion, and do to this rebellion, which led the beautiful, vibrant world to become a radioactive wasteland, the Death Korps of Krieg hold their fanaticism. The Death Korps is made up of clones who are told very early on that they are to pay for the sins of their ancestors with the deaths of both themselves, and the enemies of the Imperium. This has led them to become the most fanatical of the Imperial Guard, and unlike most legions, the Commissars don’t need to motivate them the same way others do. Actually, the Death Korps Commissars have to actively restrain the Death Korps in order to keep them in line. This sometimes, though, leads to the Kriegsmen executing their commissar because they believe they’re a coward or a heretic.
